1. Dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic
Manar successfully faced the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic by quickly transitioning to digital operations. The organization launched numerous successful digital programs and developed flexible work models that ensured continuity and impact despite pandemic-related restrictions. This approach enhanced the foundation’s ability to adapt to sudden challenges and maintain its projects.
2. Response to the Turkey and Syria Earthquake
Following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, Manar swiftly launched an urgent response campaign, mobilizing 50 volunteer teams to assist in the affected areas. This was followed by the launch of the Community Solutions Challenge to address disasters and crises, showcasing the foundation’s ability to respond quickly and effectively in times of crisis.
3. Response to the War in Gaza
Amid the ongoing war in Gaza, Manar developed innovative response programs to address the new realities, with plans to launch them soon. This reflects the foundation’s commitment to responding to emergencies and providing support to communities affected by crises or wars.
4. Organizational Challenges and Restructuring
Manar addressed organizational challenges by implementing a comprehensive administrative restructuring.
